Día 1: New York
Thursday: New York Welcome to New York City, the vibrant metropolis with its iconic skyline, frenetic pace and status as a global hub of finance, art, and innovation! Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel in the heart of Times Square. Meet the tour guide at the hospitality desk (between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM) and enjoy a drink at the bar of the hotel overlooking the bright neon lights, Broadway theaters and bustling atmosphere of the Crossroads of the World: Times Square.
Día 2: New York
Friday: New York Breakfast. The urban exploration begins with a morning guided walking tour of Midtown Manhattan with its famous Fifth Avenue known for its luxury shops, the grand library at Bryant Park on 42nd Street and Rockefeller Center, a landmark complex of Art Deco buildings opposite imposing St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The afternoon and evening will be at leisure to independently explore the many delights the Big Apple has to offer.
Día 3: New York
Saturday: New York Breakfast. Meet your local guide in the lobby of the hotel and travel by subway to Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan to catch the ferry to Liberty Island, home to the Statue of Liberty, the iconic symbol of freedom and democracy. Hop back on the ferry and cruise over to Ellis Island to learn about the millions of immigrants who passed through here between 1892 and 1954. Tour the Ellis Island National Immigration Museum on your own for as long as you want before returning by ferry to Battery Park. Evening at leisure.
Día 4: New York
Sunday: New York Breakfast. Today, explore 4 of New York City’s 5 boroughs from the comfort of a bus with an expert local guide during this 6-hour tour. Board the bus a few blocks from the hotel. First, visit historic Harlem with a stop at the Apollo Theater Walk of Fame. Continue north to the Bronx, birthplace of hip hop and rap and home to the New York Yankees. Then head off to see incredible graffiti murals unique to this borough. Next up: Queens, the largest borough of New York City. Stop at Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, originally developed to host the 1939 World’s Fair, then the 1964 World’s Fair. Leaving Queens behind, next stop is the Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn, currently NYC’s most prolific neighborhood for street art and murals. Within Brooklyn, the Hasidic Jewish community is thriving in South Williamsburg. Finally, see the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world when it was built, and enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline. The tour ends in Manhattan’s Little Italy and Chinatown, where you can enjoy this lively cultural district on your own. Remainder of the afternoon and evening is at leisure.
Día 5: New York
Monday: New York Breakfast. Entire day at leisure to roam the streets of Manhattan and to immerse yourself in its hustle and bustle. At a time of your convenience, stop by the Top of the Rock observation desk which offers unparalleled views over Manhattan and the surrounding area.
Día 6:
Tuesday: New York Breakfast. Time to bid adieu to this fascinating city. Transfer to the airport.
